God is the Artist.

God uses art to reveal Himself. He is in a relentless process of introducing His character to us; fold by fold revealing the hues, textures, blends and feathers of His nature. Through art we can begin to count His facets, and our Father’s brilliance is illuminated.

If God is the Master Artisan, then we are forever in His apprenticeship. Works of severe beauty pour forth from His Kingdom’s palette daily, and He takes great joy in using each of us as the implements for His creations.

One of our great purposes is to reveal God to others, and to uncover Him ourselves. At MZCF, we use several artistic avenues to help us and others discern and navigate the depth of God’s love and the splendor of His character. We use music, drama, and dance to pursue our Father. We use them as vehicles for our offerings, and as the media of our praise - and God reciprocates. As we give to Him through these creations, He in turn gives to us through them as well.

God uses the arts to draw us into His presence. He uses art to teach us, to strengthen us, and to kiss our wounds. He uses it to bring abundance, excitement and joy, with His Spirit always maintaining the root.

The procedures and products of art are vital to enjoying God and enjoying others. May our hearts be impressionable and tender as we continue to experience the joys of creation and its Creator.
